Moyang Ramen (墨洋拉麵), Serving the Extremely Fresh and Delicious Scallop Ramen in Taipei, Taiwan!

On Jul. 4, 2020, my friends and I would like to have ramen together! We headed to Moyang Ramen (墨洋拉麵) near MRT Gongguan Station (捷運公館站), Taipei, Taiwan that evening.

Moyang Ramen (墨洋拉麵) served 2 kinds of ramen soup. The one was the clear soup based on clams and soy sauce. The other was the rich soup based on chicken and pork bones.

During the queueing period, I made up my mind to try the premium scallop ramen (極上貝貝拉麵) later!

Moyang Ramen (墨洋拉麵) was so popular with people that it took us half an hour to line up outdoors.

The floor area of Moyang Ramen (墨洋拉麵) was relatively small. Thus, here were 3 floors at Moyang Ramen (墨洋拉麵). The order & cashier counter and kitchen was on the 1st floor, and the dining areas were on the 2nd and 3rd floor.

I ordered the premium scallop ramen (極上貝貝拉麵) at 260 TWD (= 8.83 USD) per bowl and grilled pork & halibut rice (炙燒海陸TKG) at 80 TWD (= 2.72 USD) per bowl. My friends' orders were as the same as mine!

We had our seats on the 2nd floor. The space here was a little crowded without too many seats.

The space on the 3rd floor was smaller then the 2nd floor. The seats were also less, too!

Due to the kitchen on the 1st floor, customers' meals were transported by the small lifter.

After a while, all bowls of our premium scallop ramen (極上貝貝拉麵) were served!

The premium scallop ramen (極上貝貝拉麵) looked quite beautiful and attractive! Besides the thin-sliced pink sous vide pork, the 3 large scallops strongly caught our attention!

The scallops were only slightly grilled on their surface, but their texture was still tender! The scallops were quite fresh and fantastic! Moreover, the size of scallops was satisfying to us!

And then I had a spoon of the clear and savory soup based on clams and soy sauce. That was really a wonderful enjoyment!

The noodles here were the thin noodles. I chose the default firmness of noodles without any changing. Personally speaking, its texture was slightly soft but still acceptable for me. The noodles tasted good with the clear soy sauce soup.

The sliced sous vide pork was so lean. Although there were many slices of them, in fact, every slice was so thin. Although they looked very pretty, I couldn't obviously get the tenderness and change only from the sous vide pork probably because of its leanness. Overall speaking, the quality was still high.

Instead, the daikon in the soup was even more impressive to me! I expected that the daikon was probably quite soft before I tried it. However, the daikon still had the crispy texture and absorbed the broth, probably bonito broth, very well! The combination of the daikon and soup based on clams was perfect! The daikon didn't fully covered the flavor of soup!

Moreover, customers could get the extra noodles for free!

The ramen here was not only affordable but also scrumptious!

The toppings of grilled pork & halibut rice (炙燒海陸TKG) were the raw yolk, scallions and Japanese mayonnaise.

Besides the common grilled sous vide pork, the grilled halibut fin was also included!

The fresh and tender halibut had the aroma due to grilling. I could feel it almost like melting in my mouth when I put into my mouth.

The grilled sous vide pork was too heavenly to resist with the classic Japanese mayonnaise and rice!

I made the raw egg yolk outflow into the rice and stirred them well. That made the whole rice bowl even more delicious!

The grilled pork & halibut rice (炙燒海陸TKG) was scrumptious without doubt. However, it was a shame that our grilled pork & halibut rice (炙燒海陸TKG) appeared on our table just after our ramen. It was hard for us to enjoy the grilled pork & halibut rice (炙燒海陸TKG) when it was very hot. Ordering the rice bowl when finished half of ramen would be a better solution!

Overall speaking, the premium scallop ramen of Moyang Ramen (墨洋拉麵) is absolutely worth a try! I strongly recommend it to the ramen lovers who like seafood so much!
