Menya Ichinoana Tsukemen Only (麵屋壹の穴ichi-沾麵專門店), Serving the Fragrant and Mouth-Watering Tsukemen with Chicken-Pork-Sardine Sauce in Taipei, Taiwan!


In the evening of Dec. 12, 2019, my friend and I went to the new tsukemen restaurant, Menya Ichinoana Tsukemen Only (麵屋壹の穴ichi-沾麵專門店), for dinner together near MRT Technology Building, Taipei, Taiwan.

The ramen restaurant was quite popular! Although here were more seats inside than common ramen restaurants, it still took us 45 minutes to queue.



Eventually we entered the restaurant! We were going to place our orders after we had seats.


Because I had went to Europe recently, I missed ramen so much!


Of course, without any hesitation, I ordered the tsukemen with chicken-pork-sardine sauce (豚雞煮干沾麵) and the most sous vide meat at 300 TWD (= 9.92 USD)! By the way, the prices here were unrelated to the portion of noodles. Thus, I chose the largest portion of noodles!


After we placed our orders, I just fooled around and took some photos here. Here was a slogan "Ramen Conquers the World" (拉麵征服全世界). It sounded full of ambition!


Here was also a suggestion about how to enjoy the tsukemen!


After a while, the tsukemen I was looking forward to eventually appeared on my table!


The runniness of soft-boiled egg was so good! Its egg yolk was slightly pasty!


The portion of tsukemen was so large! Additionally, the slices of sous vide pork and chicken were many enough! Here were also some other toppings, like sea grapes, shredded daikon radish, nori and sweet cherry tomato.


The sous vide chicken was so juicy! Its texture was so tender!


The sous vide pork looked beautiful and pink. It tasted so fresh and heavenly!


Its noodles were the thick noodles.


The noodles were good at absorbing the sauce! Its texture was slightly firm and al dente!


The dipping sauce was sticky and creamy. Besides the aroma of chicken and pork broth, it smelled rich in aroma of dried sardines. Frankly speaking, the combination of noodles and sauce was impeccable!


Here were some cubes of sous vide pork in the dipping sauce!


Customers here could slightly change the flavor by adding some wasabi, Japanese pepper or vinegar for dried sardines.


Customers here could also enjoy the remaining dipping sauce with the broth after finishing the noodles.


But my portion of noodles good at absorbing sauce were so large that my dipping sauce bowl was empty after I finished the noodles.

Personally speaking, I strongly recommend the tsukemen with chicken-pork-sardine sauce (豚雞煮干沾麵) at Menya Ichinoana Tsukemen Only (麵屋壹の穴ichi-沾麵專門店) to the dried-sardine ramen lovers!
