The Grilled Chicken Cutlets on Hougang 1st Rd. is not exactly its name. It's a food stall which specializes in skewers and deep fried foods. It's located at the intersection of Hougang 1st Rd. and Jianfu Rd. in Xinzhuang, New Taipei, Taiwan. Its shop sign doesn't look so conspicuous. But there are always lots of people queueing. That makes the stall very clearly visible! It often takes you at least half an hour to wait on weekdays. It takes longer time on weekends.

I like its skewers so much! The BBQ sauce tastes so good! The techniques of grilling are quite outstanding! I like its grilled meat roll stuffed with green onions, chicken hearts and chicken butts. To order some grilled blood cakes, sticky rice sausages, dried tofu or tofu skin is also a good choice!

Of course its deep fried foods are also superb! I prefer the deep fried squid here! Definitely Taiwanese fried chicken is also a must-eat! But it's often sold out!

But its deep fried foods now is without basil in comparison with its before. It used to put some basil. The mixture of its deep fried foods and basil was just like a scrumptious symphony!

I have no ideas why the basil has gone with the wind recently. Although the stall keep its quality of deep fried foods high, I still miss its deep fried foods with basil!

I think the most magical thing about the food stall is that there are always many people lining up but I've never seen the reports about it!
