Wang's Dim Sum (王記港式點心), Serving the Affordable and Fantastic Hong Kong-Style Breakfast in Zhonghe, New Taipei, Taiwan!

In the morning of Feb. 27, 2020, my friend and I would like to have breakfast together! We met each other at Wang's Dim Sum (王記港式點心), Zhonghe, New Taipei, Taiwan. The nearest landmark was Zhonghe Sports Center.

We arrived here roughly at 10:00. We saw so many steamers with steam at its entrance!

Because it was not hot that day, we chose the outdoor seats.

The signatures here were various dim sum!

We ordered some dim sum at first. Our order included the beancurd skin with shrimps (鮮蝦腐皮捲), shark fin dumplings (錦繡魚翅餃), shumai with crab roe (蟹黃蒸燒賣), rice meat & seafood balls (海鮮珍珠丸) and turnip cakes (蘿蔔糕).

Iced soy milk (冰豆漿) at 15 TWD (= 0.5 USD)
Moreover, I ordered a cup of iced soy milk at 15 TWD (= 0.5 USD).

In the 1st round, we ordered various dim sum. They all looked quite mouth-watering!

Shark fin dumplings (錦繡魚翅餃) at 45 TWD (= 1.49 USD)
At first, I'd like to try the hot shark fin dumplings! The stuffing was full and juicy with coriander aroma. What a delicious shark fin dumpling!

Turnip cakes (臘味蘿蔔糕) at 25 TWD (= 0.83 USD)
The turnip cakes were quite good, but for me, the turnip cake would have been better if it had been crispier.

Beancurd skin with shrimps (腐皮海鮮捲) at 55 TWD (= 1.82 USD)
Personally speaking, I liked the beancurd skin with shrimps (腐皮海鮮捲) here very much! The crispy outside but soft inside beancurd skin created a complexity of texture. With the seafood stuffing, the dish was so fantastic!

The dipping sauce, soy sauce and chili peppers, made it more delicious for me!

The texture of the rice on rice meat & seafood balls (海鮮珍珠丸) stroke a perfect balance. With some soy sauce, they tasted so great!

Shumai with crab roe (蟹黃蒸燒賣) at 45 TWD (= 1.49 USD)
The shumai with crab roe (蟹黃蒸燒賣) based on pork stuffing. The stuffing was fresh and juicy with sturdy texture. We both liked the dish so much!

Pan-fried squid pancakes (香煎花枝餅) at 55 TWD (= 1.82 USD)
After the 1st round, we additionally ordered the pan-fried squid pancakes (香煎花枝餅) and shumai with crab roe (蟹黃蒸燒賣).

For me, the foods at Wang's Dim Sum (王記港式點心) are not only quite affordable but also very delicious. It serves the fantastic Hong Kong-style breakfast!

But Wang's Dim Sum (王記港式點心) is not easy to access, and it only opens in mornings. Therefore, for the people who don't live near the restaurant, they have to wake up so early for the heavenly dim sum!
