Mei Jing Chuan Wei (美景川味), the Popular and Tasty Wonton and Dandan Noodles in East Taipei, Taiwan!

In the evening of Mar. 26, 2019, my friend and I visited East Taipei to try the famous spicy wonton at Mei Jing Chuan Wei (美景川味).


At first, it was pretty hard to neglect the queueing at Mei Jing Chuan Wei (美景川味). We only spent a little time queueing due to arrival before 18:00. After we had our seats, the line became longer and longer!


We all ordered the same! Everyone's meal consisted of a medium bowl of spicy wonton at 100 TWD (= 3.24 USD) and a bowl of dandan noodles at 65 TWD (= 2.11 USD).


Besides the above, we shared a side dish of dried bean curd at 30 TWD (= 0.97 USD). The side dish tasted good!


Queueing here took our patience, so did waiting for our meal. The speed of serving at Mei Jing Chuan Wei (美景川味) was not high at all.


After we patiently waited, our spicy wonton eventually appeared on our table.


I just tried its original at first. The size of wonton was not large, just bite-size. Its meat stuffing was not too full, but the whole was smooth and tasty! Mixing the wonton and sauce well made the wonton taste fragrant, numbing, but not too spicy!


Moreover, I added the special chili oil of Mei Jing Chuan Wei (美景川味).


Adding the chili oil onto the spicy wonton made them more fragrant, more numbing and also spicier! The spicy wonton here were really enjoyable and delicious!


The peanut powder was topped on the noodles. I mixed the noodles, peanut powder and sesame sauce at the bottom well.


The special chili oil made the dandan noodles more flavorful!


Not only the noodles tasted numbing and spicy, but also the aromas of peanut and sesame sauce were quite obvious. The dandan noodles were fantastic, too!

After we finished our dinner, there were still many customers lining up.

I really suggest that the ones who would like to try them choose the unpopular time to save time.
