Nana's Homemade Kitchen (娜Na手作廚房), the Restaurant Serving Delectable and Fine Gourmets in Xinzhuang, New Taipei, Taiwan!

On Nov. 1, 2018, my family and I went to Nana's Homemade Kitchen (娜Na手作廚房) for lunch in Xinzhuang, New Taipei, Taiwan. It was a restaurant located on the lane of Hougang 1st Rd.

There were lots of choices on its menu, including varieties of spaghetti, risotto, steaks and so on.

The environment here looked quite good!

It was brilliant with floor-to-ceiling windows!

We three guys ordered three main courses totally! They were the steak with sliced garlic, clam pasta with pesto and cream sauce and Munich-styled roasted chicken thighs and risotto with pesto and cream sauce.

The first one was the steak with sliced garlic at 260 TWD (= 8.46 USD)!

The steak tasted a little crispy outside but quite tender inside! It was very matched with the sliced garlic!

The second one was clam pasta with pesto and cream sauce at 220 TWD (= 7.16 USD).

The were so many clams on the spaghetti! The clams was so fresh, and the sauce was so fragrant!

The texture of noodles seemed quite good for most Taiwanese. Personally speaking, it was not al dente for me. I thought that it was probably a local adjustment. I hoped one day I could customize my texture of spaghetti here. Although it had the small disadvantage, it was still a remarkable cuisine even with the tiny flaw for me!

The soup that day was sesame oil mushroom soup. The aroma of sesame and mushrooms were a nice matching!

The side dishes here were also excellent, especially the fern salad!

The last one was Munich-styled roasted chicken thighs and risotto with pesto and cream sauce at 300 TWD (= 9.76 USD).

The aroma of risotto with pesto and cream sauce was attractive! But the texture of risotto was adjusted to Taiwanese preference. Its texture was not al dente, as the same as traditional Italian risotto. It depended on everyone's taste.

The Munich-styled roasted chicken thighs was so scrumptious! Its crispy roasted chicken skin and very tender thighs with the special smoked aroma were the golden combination! It was my favorite that day!

Although the texture of spaghetti and risotto was a fly in the ointment, I still thought they were extraordinary courses, especially its sauce!

And the size of main course was large enough! The clams were so many, and the chicken thighs and steak were so large. But their quality were still quite high! The side dishes were, too! 

I consider Nana's Homemade Kitchen (娜Na手作廚房) is worth my visiting again and again!
