Hsiao's Crispy Deep-Fried Stinky Tofu (蕭家下港脆皮臭豆腐), the Amazing and Juicy Deep-Fried Stinky Tofu in Zhonghe, New Taipei, Taiwan!

On Jul. 11, 2018, my friend happened to have a typhoon leave, but the rain and wind were both not strong as expected before. Therefore we decided to go shopping at Under Armour Outlet and Decathlon Mall in Zhonghe, New Taipei, Taiwan in the afternoon. After that, we went to Hsiao's Crispy Deep-Fried Stinky Tofu (蕭家下港脆皮臭豆腐) for dinner in the evening!

We arrived there at almost 20:00. It was off-peak hour, but the customers for here and to go were still many!

Its menu looked simple! Hsiao's served deep-fried stinky tofu, spicy stinky tofu and duck blood!

My friend and I order 2 dishes of deep-fried stinky tofu and 1 bowl of spicy stinky tofu. They cost us totally 175 TWD (= 5.73 USD).

Soon we got our dishes of deep-fried stinky tofu! At first I tried the Taiwanese kimchi on the side. It tasted sweet and sour with crispy texture. It was so appetizing!

The deep-fried stinky tofu tasted not only crispy outside but also juicy and soft inside! The soup inside the tofu burst when we bit into my mouth!

The center of tofu was caved, so we could filled the hollow with the Taiwanese kimchi or chili sauce! That made the deep-fried stinky tofu even better!

The spicy tofu didn't taste quite hot and spicy, but it was smoothy as a bowl of soup!

The spicy tofu was good and thick. I thought it was not bad!

But I would recommend to the customers who ate like a bird to order only a dish of deep-fried stinky tofu! The deep-fried stinky tofu could satisfy you!

After enjoying the amazing stinky tofu, we left for Taipei from Zhonghe, New Taipei by bus. And the typhoon leave was time to end!
