On Apr. 21, 2018, after my friend and I went to Tomakomai, Hokkaido, Japan from Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan for the surf clam curry, we moved to Rera Outlet at JR Minami-Chitose Station (JR南千歲駅) from JR Tomakomai Station (JR苫小牧駅) for window shopping. And then we took the train and underground back to Downtown Sapporo roughly after 19:00,
Initially we planned to have our dinner at Tokachi Butadon Ippin's branch at Sapporo Stellar Place. It was really good to access because it was just at JR Sapporo Station(JR札幌駅)!
But there were too many customers queueing at the Sapporo Stellar Place branch! Soon we decided to take the underground to Kitajusanjo-Higashi Station(北13条東駅) from JR Sapporo Station for dinner at Kitajujo Branch of Tokachi Butadon Ippin (十勝豚丼いっぴん).
Although we still had to wait at Kitajujo Branch, it was quite obvious to see the people queueing here even less than at Sapporo Stellar Place Branch!
We arrived here almost at 20:00, but the seats of the restaurant were still fully occupied! I thought it was so awesome for a restaurant not located at downtown area!
The courses served here were pretty simple! The main course was just Tokachi Butadon (十勝豚丼, Tokachi Pork Bowl)
The prices were fairly reasonable! The regular-sized Tokachi Butadon only cost me 842 JPY (= 7.68 USD)!
Because the pork on the butadon (豚丼, pork bowl) here was roasted after ordering, and the restaurant was still busy then, it took us some time to wait for our butadon. But it was still acceptable!
Finally, the Tokachi Butadon(十勝豚丼) we were looking forward to was served with some pickles!
Not only the aroma of roasted Tokachi Pork (十勝豚肉) smelled mouthwatering, but also the taste was fully satisfying!
The tender but not too fatty roasted pork loin and the fresh white leeks basted with the sweet and salty homemade special BBQ sauce were on the hot and appetizing Japanese rice! I put them together into my mouth. Oh my God! The Tokachi Butadon was really unforgettably scrumptious!
The amount of delicious Tokachi Butadon was also really enough for me! And it only cost me 842 JPY(= USD 7.68)! It was exactly not only affordable and large but superb!
If you visit Sapporo or Obihiro, Hokkaido, Japan one day, I strongly recommend you to try the affordable gourmet, Tokachi Butadon(十勝豚丼) at every branch of Tokachi Butadon Ippin (十勝豚丼いっぴん)!
