On Feb. 15, 2017, the day when we arrived at Haneda Airport, my travel companion and I took the railway to Kamakura in the morning. It was almost at noon after we visited the Great Buddha of Kamakura and Tsurugaoka Hachimangu.
Because my travel companion preferred not to have seafood, we didn't choose whitebait donburi, the famous cuisine here, for lunch. We decided to try Satonoudon's Pork Belly Rice Bowl.
It seemed pretty good and was awarded. Therefore I ordered the pork belly rice bowl(バラ丼)
The rice bowl was topped with a raw egg. In fact, It tasted very good. The pork belly was tender. The sliced cabbage and rice were almost king-sized!
But the sliced cabbage was too much to get the rice easily. Probably, an additional bowl could improve this.
Its special mayonnaise was quite good! It made the whole pork belly rice bowl more delicious!
I think it's worth trying!
