Hama Sushi on Zhongshan N. Road
|
That day was a weekday. We didn't expect lining up was necessary. Luckily, it only took us 10 minutes to queue!

The inside of Hama Sushi |
We had seats soon. The sushi restaurant provided 3 kinds of soy sauce! They looked professional. Of them, I loved the kelp soy sauce from Hokkaido! It also provided matcha powder to enjoy the tea. But I had to say, the wasabi there was so-so.
Hama Sushi is from Japan. The branch we visited that day is near MRT Minquan W. Rd. Station in Taipei, Taiwan. Each dish of sushi is at TWD 40 (USD 1.27). Although the price in Taiwan is higher than in Japan, it's still acceptable because I understand that everything imported is usually more expensive than in the country of origin.

Three kinds of soy sauce |
Hama Sushi served lots of kinds of unique sushi from other conveyor belt (kaiten) sushi restaurants in Taiwan. I ordered the bonito nigiri, prosciutto & sliced onion nigiri and monkfish foie gras gunkan because I had never seen them in other conveyor belt (kaiten) sushi restaurants in Taiwan. They were not only special but also delicious and fresh!
I strongly recommend them! And I'd like to visit Hama Sushi again soon for them!

Hama Sushi also served noodles and desserts, but we didn't order any of them. Because we wanted to focus on sushi for our first time.
Maybe next time I'll try them, and then I'll share my reviews with you!
