Wujie Shaobing Bakery (五結碳烤燒餅店), Serving the Mouth-Watering Baked Cheese Buns in Wujie, Yilan, Taiwan!

Sep. 30, 2020 was the last day of the journey when we travelled around Taiwan by public bike and railway. That morning we got on the train to Luodong Station (羅東車站), Yilan, from Hualien Station (花蓮車站), Hualien. We arrived in Luodong, Yilan at noon, so we walked to Wujie Shaobing Bakery (五結碳烤燒餅店) for lunch nearby.

Wujie Shaobing Bakery (五結碳烤燒餅店) was very close to Luodong Station (羅東車站), Yilan, but it was actually in Wujie, Yilan.

The hot and fresh shaobing looked quite mouth-watering!

I ordered the following:
baked cheese bun (起司饅頭) at 20 TWD (= 0.7 USD)
pork shaobing (鮮肉餅) at 15 TWD (= 0.52 USD)
scallion shaobing (小蔥餅) at 12 TWD (= 0.42 USD)
radish shaobing (蘿蔔絲餅) at 10 TWD (= 0.35 USD)

Soon I got what I ordered, but they seemed just warm, not very hot. Reheating by customers at home seemed a better solution.

The pork shaobing (鮮肉餅) was not large but filled with juicy pork stuffing. The crispy pork shaobing (鮮肉餅) tasted great with the onion and pepper aroma!

The baked scallion shaobing (小蔥餅) also had the crispy wrapper! Its stuffing was the salty scallion. It was also quite good!

The radish shaobing was also full of dried radish. It was not bad, but not my preference.

For me, my favorited was the baked cheese bun!

Its wrapper was crispy with some sesame!

The stuffing was the rich cheese. With the light wheat aroma, the bun was really satisfying to me!

After we enjoyed the tasty baked cheese bun and shaobing, we fooled around Downtown Luodong to wait for the opening of another famous food booth, Cai's Stinky Tofu (財記臭豆腐)!
