(中文版：帥哥米粉湯，台灣新北新店，在地超人氣小吃！)
At noon of Oct. 29, 2020, my friends and I headed to Hunk's Rice Noodle Soup (帥哥米粉湯), Xindian, New Taipei, Taiwan together for lunch. Thus, I rode the public bike, Youbike, along the riverside to Xindian, New Taipei from Xinzhuang, New Taipei.
We were looking forward to the lunch here when seeing the hot and fresh deep-fried tofu!
Because Hunk's Rice Noodle Soup (帥哥米粉湯) was super popular with locals in Xindian, here were both so many takeout and dine-in customers. Therefore, it took us about 10 minutes to queue. And then it was our turn to place our order!
Because we ordered so many and various dishes, I typed in what we'd like on iPhone's Notes App and then show the note to the clerk.
After placing our order, we found some seats available and had our seats!
Soon our dishes were all served!
At first, I'd like to try the signature, rice noodle soup (米粉湯).
The rice noodle soup was based on the pork bones. It tasted fresh and mild. With some minced celery and fried shallots, the soup was pretty nice!
For customers who liked heavy taste, some white pepper and chili would make the soup even more delicious!
The freshly deep-fried tofu (油豆腐) was crispy outside and smooth inside. With some thick soy sauce, the dish was so heavenly!
We also ordered the soy sauce eggs (滷蛋), kelp (海帶) and pork ears (豬耳朵), some common side dishes in Taiwan's eateries. With some shredded gingers and thick soy sauce, the side dishes were so high-quality!
Moreover, we ordered the pork diaphragm (豬肝連) and jowl (豬嘴邊肉)!
The pork lung (豬肺) was quite rare in Taiwan. Its texture was soft but a little springy. There seemed to be many small bubbles inside the pork lung.
And the smoked shark (鯊魚煙) was also good with the smoked aroma!
The texture of the smoked shark was soft and fluffy. The side dish was worth a try with the ginger, thick soy sauce and wasabi!
The dishes are fresh and tasty at Hunk's Rice Noodle Soup (帥哥米粉湯). Its signature, rice noodle soup (米粉湯), is light but mild. The foods here are quite affordable. It's a really nice Taiwanese eatery. That's the reason why it's so popular with locals in Xindian, New Taipei!
