In the afternoon of Jun. 23, 2020, my friend and I were in Taipei, Taiwan. We rode the public bicycles to Huang's Sausage (黃家香腸)! The nearest MRT station was MRT Guting Station (捷運古亭站).
Huang's Sausage (黃家香腸) was pretty popular with people! Although the queueing line was not too long that day, customers came here one after another.
Huang's Sausage (黃家香腸) had established since 1990. It had operated here for 30 years!
The price of the grilled sausage here was 30 TWD (= 1.02 USD) each.
Besides the freshly grilled sausages, here were also the raw sausages served! The price of the raw sausage was 25 TWD (= 0.85 USD) each. Customer who liked the grilled sausages here could buy the raw sausages and then grill the sausages by themselves!
The closer I walked to the BBQ grill, the richer aroma from the grilled sausages I could feel!
Initially, I intended to buy a sausage for snack, but it smelled too mouth-watering to resist! Therefore, I eventually bought 2 sausages!
In Taiwan, the most classic seasoning for grilled sausages was, of course, the garlic!
Here were the peeled garlics served at Huang's Sausage (黃家香腸)! However, the garlics were limited! Customers could get 2 garlics for free when buying 1 sausage!
The grilled sausage here looked quite red and bright. It was really attractive! The burnt part was little!
The pork inside the sausage was pretty dense! The pork tasted not only fresh but also tender with springy texture! Moreover, it was not too oily! With some garlics, the sausage became even more flavorful!
Personally speaking, the sausage at Huang's Sausage (黃家香腸) is one of the top affordable sausages I've ever had in my life!
