(中文版:豚人拉麵,台灣台北獨特美味!熱騰騰的燒拉麵!)
At noon of May 4, 2020, my friends and I headed to Butanchu Ramen (豚人拉麵) for lunch together in Taipei, Taiwan! The nearest MRT Station here was MRT Zhongxiao Fuxing Station.
Butanchu Ramen (豚人拉麵) was from Kyoto, Japan. The restaurant we visited was the 2nd branch in Taiwan.
The signatures here were the various pork bone ramen.
The restaurant also served the mountain-like Jirorian Ramen!
Customers here could also order the side dish, like fried chicken (唐揚炸雞), stir-fried rice (炒飯) and BBQ pork rice to upgrade to the set meal!
This time we visited the branch of Butanchu Ramen (豚人拉麵) in Taipei in order to try its unique dish, fried ramen (燒拉麵)!
Because we saw the sign say the extra noodles were free for once, we asked the chef whether the fried ramen was included. The answer was yes! Therefore, we could enjoy the extra large fried ramen!
The space inside the restaurant looked long and slim. Most of seats here were bar seats. Customers could put personal belongings on the hook attached on the wall.
Here were also the spicy bean sprouts (豆芽菜) and takana (高菜) for free.
Luckily, we visited Butanchu Ramen (豚人拉麵) during the event period. Customers could get 2 free deep fried dumplings at the noon of business days in May.
The hot fried dumplings looked quite golden and crispy. They tasted so great with some sesame sauce!
Next, the main course today, fried ramen (燒拉麵), was served! It cost me 190 TWD (= 6.34 USD) per dish. Due to the extra noodles, my fried ramen looked like a small mountain!
The toppings looked abundant and various, including nori, bonito flakes, mayonnaise, etc. The whole fried ramen looked so mouth-watering! Moreover, the bonito flakes looked like dancing because of the steam. It was too hard to distract from the fried ramen!
The noodles of fried ramen here was Butanchu's homemade curl noodles! The al dente texture was the top of tops! The sauce was also well absorbed by the noodles! The hot noodles with the sauce and toppings made me enjoy the fried ramen one bite after another!
Besides the large quantity of noodles, the quality of ingredients was also quite high! The ingredients included the pork, squid, cabbage and so on. The fried ramen was really diversely nutritious!
The last one was my add-on, the pork rice (叉燒飯), at 60 TWD (= 2 USD). The pork topped on the rice here was mainly braised. The fat and lean pork slices were fully separated. Each of the pork slices was fully lean or fat. My 1st bite of rice tasted too moist. The rest of rice was OK. Relatively, I preferred the fried ramen and dumplings to the braised pork rice.
Personally speaking, I extremely recommend the fried ramen (燒拉麵) at Butanchu Ramen (豚人拉麵)! Not only the portion is pretty satisfying, but also the ingredients are various and abundant! The hot fried noodles are al dente and flavorful! The fried ramen here is very impressive! Additionally, the freshly made deep fried dumplings are very tasty too! They're absolutely worth a try!
