The Egg Pancake Roll Booth Serving the Al-Dente and Tasty Traditional Egg Pancake Rolls on Minben Street, Xinzhuang, New Taipei, Taiwan
In the morning of Apr. 19, 2020, I'd like to enjoy the egg pancake roll for breakfast. Therefore, I headed to the booth on Minben Street (民本街), Xinzhuang, New Taipei, Taiwan. The booth specialized in the egg pancake rolls based on the fresh-made batter!
The egg pancake roll booth on Minben Street was just a food booth, not a restaurant. Thus, here were only outdoor seats.
I saw the owner professionally scoop the batter and then put it onto the hot iron plate.
The owner quickly spread the batter to evenly heat the batter.
Soon, my egg pancake rolls based the batter was served! The freshly-made egg pancake rolls smelled mouth-watering. The seasoning inside the egg pancake rolls was the celery instead of scallion!
The dish of egg pancake rolls only cost me 20 TWD (= 0.67 USD). The price was reasonable, and the portion was enough!
The texture of the egg pancake rolls based on the batter was the very al dente wrapper! The wrapper was very hot and a little crispy. With the egg, the pancake rolls tasted so great!
The egg pancake rolls tasted even more delicious with the thick soy sauce and sweet chili sauce!
Additionally, I ordered a bowl of iced soy milk at 10 TWD (0.33 USD).
The iced soy milk tasted smooth and good with moderate sugar.
I happily enjoyed the tasty traditional Taiwanese egg pancake rolls and smooth iced soy milk! The breakfast only cost me 30 TWD (= 1 USD). I felted so satisfied with the breakfast here!
