Lucky Star Tea Shop (沅保奶茶店), Specializing in the Crispy and Tasty Paratha in Zhonghe, New Taipei, Taiwan!

In the morning of Apr. 29, 2020, my friend and I rode the public shared bikes to MRT Nanshijiao Station, Zhonghe, New Taipei, Taiwan. We went to Lucky Star Tea Shop (沅保奶茶店) for breakfast on the Burmese Street (Huaxin Street).

In fact, Lucky Star Tea Shop (沅保奶茶店) was very popular with customers. Because of Wuhan Virus (COVID-19), most of customers here chose the outdoor seats.

The signatures here were the paratha (印度甩餅) with various side dishes.

We ordered the following:
A dish of the paratha with bean puree (黃豆泥印度甩餅) at 30 TWD (= 1.01 USD)
A dish of the egg paratha with cheese (雞蛋甩餅加起司) at 55 TWD (= 1.85 USD)
A dish of the chicken paratha (雞肉甩餅) at 60 TWD (= 2.02 USD)
A cup of hot Indian milk tea at 30 TWD (= 1.01 USD)
A cup of iced Indian milk tea at 45 TWD (= 1.51 USD)

At first, my hot Indian milk tea and the paratha with bean puree were served.

The Indian milk tea tasted very rich in tea in aroma. The milk tea here was smooth and tasty!

The paratha (印度甩餅) was served with a dish of bean puree.

The bean puree was topped with the minced fried shallots. The bean puree was smooth and delicious with the shallot aroma.

The hot, crispy and tasty paratha tasted so great with the bean puree!

Next, the egg paratha was served. It looked quite golden with the thick soy sauce!

The paratha was wrapped with the smooth eggs. The slightly melted cheese was inside! It tasted fantastic!

The chicken paratha was served with some pickles.

The pickles tasted very fresh and a little spicy. It was well-matched with the chicken paratha.

The outside of chicken paratha was golden and crispy, and the inside was stuffed with some chicken and onions. It tasted very good!

After finishing our dishes, we decided to order more dishes because we loved the food here so much! We ordered the coconut kaya paratha (椰子醬印度甩餅) at 35 TWD (= 1.18 USD) and bean paratha (黃豆甩餅) at 30 TWD (= 1.01 USD).

The hot paratha was topped with some coconut kaya sauce. The moist coconut kaya sauce and crispy paratha were perfectly matched!

The bean paratha was very crispy. The stuffing inside was the soy bean paste.

Probably, the bean paratha tasted slightly dry because the stuffing was heated. It was lower than our expectation.

Overall, the paratha at Lucky Star Tea Shop (沅保奶茶店) was quite affordable and tasty! We happily enjoyed the paratha with the rich Indian milk tea!
