Blue Sky Restaurant (藍天印度烤餅), Serving the Affordable and Tasty Naan on the Burmese Street, Zhonghe, New Taipei, Taiwan!

In the morning of Apr. 13, 2020, my friend and I met at Renai Park, Yonghe, New Taipei, Taiwan. And then we rode the public shared bikes along Wayao Creek (瓦磘溝) to the Burmese Street (Huaxin Street) near MRT Nanshijiao Station, Zhonghe.

We headed to the Burmese Street of Zhonghe to visit Blue Sky Restaurant (藍天印度烤餅) for brunch.

We arrived here roughly at 10:30. It was the brunch time. Here were so many customers inside the restaurant!

But here were some seats available, so we could soon have seats.

Here were 2 kinds of naan, the baked naan and fried naan.

We ordered the following:
curry chicken plus fried naan (咖喱雞肉+甩餅) at 45 TWD (= 1.5 USD) ea.
mashed soybean plus baked naan (香豆泥+烤餅) at 30 TWD (= 1 USD) ea.
sweet cream naan (甜味奶油烤餅) at 30 TWD (= 1 USD) ea.
hot Indian milk tea (熱印度奶茶) at 30 TWD (= 1 USD) ea.

The hot Indian milk tea and sweet cream naan were firstly served. The next ones were the mashed soybean and baked naan.

The last ones were the fried naan and a small dish of curry chicken.

The tea and milk of the Indian milk tea were both quite rice! But most of the sugar was precipitated at the bottom. Stirring the milk tea well before drinking was a better solution.

The sugar and cream naan smelled mouth-watering and sweet.

The baked naan was slightly crispy outside but a little fluffy inside.

The sugar and cream were spread on the inside of naan. They were melted after heating. The naan tasted even sweeter and tastier!

Next, we'd like to try the naan with mashed soy bean!

The texture of baked naan was crispy outside but fluffy inside, and the mashed soybean were topped with some fried shallots.

I spooned the mashed soybean and spread it on the baked naan.

The mashed soybean was so silky with the aroma of fried shallots! It tasted so great with the baked naan!

Additionally, the mashed soybean was also good with the fried naan!

The fried naan was pan-fried with oil. It had the mixed aroma of hot oil and wheat. Its texture was even crispier!

The small side dish of curry chicken looked so red. It tasted a little spicy, appetizing and delicious!

The curry chicken tasted so fantastic with either the crispy fried naan or the fluffy baked naan!

The brunch totally cost us 165 TWD (= 5.5 USD). The price was reasonable, and the portion and quality were both so satisfying to us! Additionally, due to the uniqueness, the food here was absolutely worth a try!
