On Aug. 4, 2019, after my friend and I checked in at Dormy Inn Soga near JR Soga Station, Chiba, Japan, we met the other friend who had attended FGO's 4th anniversary festival at JR Shin-Kemigawa Station and then had dinner together!
We headed to Chiba's very famous soba noodle restaurant, Sarashina Saitou (更科 斉とう).
The restaurant was very popular with local residents in Chiba, Japan. Therefore we queued at its entrance for 30 minutes.
Here were not only the chair seats but also traditional Japanese seats.
The signatures here were soba noodles! Additionally, Sarashina Saitou (更科 斉とう) also served tempura!
My friends both ordered duck soba noodles at 1,650 JPY (= 15.86 USD) per set. Moreover, they ordered some tempura side dishes.
I just ordered its speciality, the soba noodles with blotched snakehead tempura at 1880 JPY (= 18.07 USD).
The side dishes looked golden and crispy!
The tempura smelled so great with oil aroma!
My friends' main courses, duck soba noodles, smelled so mouth-watering with duck aroma.
Here were large duck chunks in the duck sauce!
My soba noodles with blotched snakehead tempura was last served.
The soba noodles were cold noodles.
With some dipping sauce, the noodles tasted fresh and great!
My main dish of set was obviously the blotched snakehead tempura.
The texture of blotched snakehead was slightly firm with good elasticity. The batter of blotched snakehead tempura was thin but good!
The blotched snakehead tempura with a little sauce was quite satisfying!
After finishing the noodles and tempura, I poured the soba water into the sauce. The mixture was the soup as a good period of dinner.
After enjoying the heavenly soba noodles, we went back to Dormy Inn near JR Soga Station by JR because here was nothing to do for tourists.
