Ahui Beef Restaurant (阿輝牛肉城), Serving the Super Fresh and Delicious Beef Dishes at Low Prices in Xindian, New Taipei, Taiwan!

In the evening of Sep. 1, 2019, my friends and I went to Xindian, New Taipei, Taiwan. We planned to visit Ahui Beef Restaurant (阿輝牛肉城), the pretty popular restaurant near MRT Dapinglin Station, for dinner!

Here were some seats available just when we arrived.

Soon the seats here were all occupied after we had our seats.

Ahui Beef Restaurant (阿輝牛肉城) is a restaurant which specialized in beef. Most of dishes here were based on beef.

Its signature was exactly the flat iron beef hot pot at 490 TWD (= 16.32 USD)!

The flat iron beef hot pot, minced beef tendon rice and beef meatball were firstly served.

The bowl of minced beef tendon rice at 40 TWD (= 1.33 USD) looked quite large. The rice was fully topped with the minced beef and beef tendon.

The rice with good-smelling sauce and minced beef tendon was quite heavenly!

Before blanching the fresh sliced beef, we tried the hot pot soup.

Here were so many vegetables, tofu and tofu skin in the soup!

The soup tasted quite fresh and good! We couldn't help but enjoy the soup bite by bite!

Absolutely, we couldn't have the hot pot without any dipping sauces!

The signature sauce here was the mixture of Cantonese soy sauce and Japanese fermented tofu!

My dipping sauce was based on the signature sauce. I also added some species, like scallions, garlics, chili peppers and onions.

After the preparing process of dipping sauce, it was the time to enjoy the fresh beef. The beef looked lean without any redundant fats.

I slowly blanched the fresh beef in the hot pot soup slice by slice.

Just after blanching the beef, the beef still looked slightly pink.

The fresh, tender and slightly pink blanched beef was too delicious to forget!

Besides the fresh sliced beef, we also ordered a dish of beef meatballs at 130 TWD (= 4.33 USD).

We put the minced beef on the bamboo tube by a wooden spoon into the hot pot.

After blanching, I carefully and slowly enjoyed the beef meatballs. The beef meatball was tender, fresh and delicious!

Besides the beef hot pot, here were other beef dishes!

That day we also ordered the beef & tofu casserole (牛肉豆腐煲) at 200 TWD (= 6.67 USD).

The hot beef & tofu casserole (牛肉豆腐煲) in the iron pot smelled so mouth-watering!

The hot rice topped with the smooth tofu and tender beef was really a great enjoyment of life!

Besides the various beef dishes, the basil frittata (九層塔蛋) was the must-try here! A dish of basil frittata cost us 75 TWD (= 2.5 USD).

The basil frittata was full of basil aroma, and its texture was smooth and fluffy. We all liked this dish so much!

After finishing the dishes we initially ordered, we decided to ordered one more dish of beef meatballs as the ending of abundant and wonderful dinner this day!

The dinner totally cost us 3 people 1,155 TWD (= 38.51 USD). Equivalently, one person just spent 385 TWD (= 12.84 USD) on the abundant, scrumptious and special dinner. We were all so satisfied with the dinner. That would be the reason why Ahui Beef Restaurant (阿輝牛肉城) was always so popular with local residents in Xindian, New Taipei, Taiwan!
