Korean Food Village (韓食村), the Restaurant Serving Crispy, Tasty and Thick Korean Seafood Pancakes (해물전) in Taipei, Taiwan
In the evening of Nov. 19, 2019, my friend and I met at MRT Songjiang Nanjing Station, Taipei, Taiwan. We were going to Korean Food Village (韓食村) nearby for dinner.
Before entering the restaurant, customers could read the menu and place the order.
I ordered a bowl of spicy jjamppong noodles (炒馬麵, 짬뽕) at 150 TWD (= 4.91 USD). My friend ordered kimchi hot pot with pork (豬肉泡菜鍋) at 150 TWD (= 4.91 USD). Additionally, we ordered a plate of Korean seafood pancakes (海鮮煎餅, 해물전) at 200 TWD (= 6.54 USD).
Here were 3 side dishes on our table after we had our seats. The side dishes here could all be refilled for free.
Because we had already place our orders before entering, our meals were soon served!
The soup of jjamppong noodles (炒馬麵, 짬뽕) tasted so umami but not too spicy. Extra spicy was more recommended to spicy food lovers.
The portion of noodles were large, but the texture was slightly soft.
The ingredients in jjamppong noodles (炒馬麵, 짬뽕) were various, like pork, fish cake, mushroom and so on. Additionally, a whole pouched egg was also included.
The jjamppong noodles (炒馬麵, 짬뽕) here was so large and good!
My friend's kimchi hot pot with pork looked mouth-watering, too!
Our last course was the Korean seafood pancake (海鮮煎餅, 해물전). It looked quite golden and large!
The texture of the Korean seafood pancake (海鮮煎餅, 해물전) was pretty crispy and fragrant outside and very thick and abundant inside! The seafood here was also fresh! Moreover, the seafood pancake with the special dipping sauce was scrumptious! The Korean seafood pancake (海鮮煎餅, 해물전) was our favorite that day!
After enjoying the large, tasty but affordable Korean cuisine, we head to Taipei Main Station for the new anime movie "KonoSuba: Legend of Crimson"!
