Quan An Viet Nam Restaurant (越鄉越南美食館), the Super Delicious Vietnamese Restaurant near MRT Shilin Station, Taipei, Taiwan

In the evening of Mar. 2, 2019, my friends and I met at MRT Shilin Station, Taipei, Taiwan. We'd like to try the popular Vietnamese restaurant here, Quan An Viet Nam Restaurant (越鄉越南美食館).

That day we 3 guys spent 940 TWD (= 30.33 USD) on our 1st order.

The turmeric beef fried rice (薑黃牛肉炒飯) smelled good with turmeric aroma. The tender beef and grainy rice were also great! I strongly recommended it!

Its signature, the moon shrimp cake (月亮蝦餅), was the dish customers shouldn't miss!

Here were 8 slices of moon shrimp cake (月亮蝦餅). Every slice was large and thick!

The shrimp cake was crispy outside and full of shrimp paste inside. Additionally, a whole shrimp was included in the shrimp cake. This dish was absolutely worth a try!

Shrimp and meat omelette (蝦肉煎餅) at 160 TWD (= 5.16 USD)
The shrimp and meat omelette (蝦肉煎餅) was a quite unique dish. The dish was covered by the yellow omelette with some lettuce aside.

Its stuffing consisted of pork, shrimps and bean sprouts.

The shrimp and meat omelette tasted so fresh with the lettuce.

Banh Mi (越式夾心麵包) at 120 TWD (= 3.87 USD)
The next dish was Banh Mi, the Vietnamese sandwich. Its bread was the baguette, a long, thin loaf of French bread, introduced to Vietnam when Vietnam was still colonized by France. Its stuffing was based on Vietnam's local cuisine.

Moreover, we ordered 2 Vietnamese salad. One dish was the sliced pig head salad (大薄片).

The other dish was the Vietnamese seafood salad (涼拌海鮮).

Both of them tasted good, but their seasonings were too similar. We should have ordered just one of them because we were only 3 guys here.

After finishing the 1st order, we'd like to additionally order a bowl of shredded chicken dry noodles (雞絲乾麵) and the dessert, Bubur cha cha (摩摩喳喳).

A bowl of clear soup was served with the shredded chicken dry noodles for free. The soup taste mild and good!

The chicken dry noodles were so fragrant! The shredded chicken was tender, and the noodles were al dente. It was a good staple food!

Bubur cha cha (摩摩喳喳),70 TWD (= 2.26 USD)
At last, the special dessert from Southeast Asia, Bubur cha cha (摩摩喳喳), was served. The toppings were various nuts and dried fruits. The bottom was the coconut milk with pearled sago. It was a fantastic dessert!

Here was no additional service charge at Quan An Viet Nam Restaurant (越鄉越南美食館). We all spent 1,140 TWD (= 36.78 USD), in other words, 380 TWD (= 12.26 USD) each.

Personally speaking, it was a pretty affordable dinner! Not only the cuisine was special and delicious, but also the food portion was also satisfying!
