Qi's Steamed Dumplings (亓家蒸餃), the Incredibly Delicious Steamed Dumplings near MRT Nanjing Sanmin Station, Taipei, Taiwan

In the morning of Aug. 14, 2019, my friends and I met at MRT Nanjing Sanmin Station, Taipei, Taiwan. We were going to have dinner at Qi's Steamed Dumplings (亓家蒸餃).

Here were so many customers in the restaurant and at its entrance.

Fortunately, here was a table with 4 seats available when entering the restaurant. Soon we had our seats!

We ordered a steamer of shrimp dumplings at 120 TWD (= 3.82 USD), 2 steamers of shrimp & loofah dumplings at 120 TWD (= 3.82 USD) per steamer and a steamer of corn dumplings at 80 TWD (= 2.55 USD).

My friends additionally ordered fishball soup at 35 TWD (= 0.95 USD).

I didn't ordered the soup because it was really hot in Taipei, Taiwan.

After a while, our steamed dumplings were served!



At first, I tried my steamed shrimp dumplings.

Its wrapper was thin but al dente, and its stuffing consisted of the high-density and bouncy pork and fresh and tasty shrimp. What a fantastic steamed shrimp dumpling!

I exchanged a shrimp dumpling for a shrimp & loofah dumpling with my friend to try the different one.



Compared with shrimp dumplings, the shrimp & loofah dumplings had the additional and unique freshness due to the loofah.



Personally speaking, both of them were so heavenly! They both their own advantages. The difference depended on the preference about the loofah. For me, I preferred the shrimp dumplings which consisted of only the pork and shrimp, while my friends loved the shrimp & loofah dumplings with the vegetable freshness more.

In fact, the corn dumplings here were also pretty delicious. The fresh, bouncy and springy pork and slightly sweet corns were perfectly combined here!

After finishing the quite satisfying steamed dumplings, we soon paid the bill and went out to make seats available because here were many customers still queueing at its entrance.

Our next destination was the Burger King nearby. We had chatted and played mobile games there for hours. After the happy hours, we went back home.
