Mother Lin's Seafood (林母仔的店), the Fresh and Scrumptious Grouper Dumplings at Shuanglian Market, Taipei, Taiwan

At noon of May 11, 2019, my friends and I visited Shuanglian Market (雙連市場), Taipei, Taiwan for the famous food stand, Mother Lin's Seafood (林母仔的店)!

Mother Lin's Seafood's most special cuisine for me was absolutely the grouper dumplings!

Of course, the other courses also looked attractive!



But it was our 1st time, so we all ordered the assorted dumplings at 150 TWD (= 4.74 USD).

Yes, we could have all kinds of dumplings at once! The assorted dumplings included grouper dumplings, shrimp and chive dumplings, scallop dumplings, cabbage dumplings and leek dumplings. Except group dumplings, the stuffing all based on pork!

The dumplings here looked larger than common dumplings.

Grouper Dumplings

The stuffing of grouper dumplings only based on groupers! Its texture was softer than pork stuffing. Moreover, the dumplings had an aroma of cilantro.

Shrimp and Chive Dumplings

The shrimp and chive dumplings had shrimps inside. The combination of shrimps and chives was a classic of shrimp dumplings

Scallop Dumplings

The scallop inside scallop dumplings was quite large! Its freshness and deliciousness were both impressive!

Cabbage Dumplings

The cabbage dumplings and leek dumplings were also very good! They were both tasty and juicy!

Leek Dumplings

Personally speaking, the grouper dumplings were the most satisfying for me that day!



We also ordered shrimp dry noodles to share with each other, The giant shrimp was fresh and delicious! Additionally, its noodles were very matched with its sauce!

Moreover, the assorted dumpling combo included a bowl of neritic squid! The soup had a special sweetness of seafood. The soup was heavenly!

The texture of mahi-mahi fishball was very firm!

The neritic squid not only looked large but also tasted fresh with al dente texture!

Although I thought 10 dumplings and a bowl of soup at 150 TWD seemed expensive when ordering, after I enjoyed the combo, I thought the price was fair and reasonable! The only flaw of Mother Lin's Seafood (林母仔的店) was its environment. The environment was simple and crude because Mother Lin's Seafood (林母仔的店) was a food stand at the market.
