Yamanaka (やま中), the Restaurant Serving One of the Scrumptious Specialities, Motsunabe (もつ鍋), in Fukuoka, Japan!

On Sep. 14, 2018, the 1st day of our university reunion trip to Kyushu, Japan, we finally met each other at Fukuoka Airport, Japan from different places roughly at 20:30. After gathering together, the 1st thing we needed to do was to have dinner at Akasaka Station, Fukuoka.

The restaurant we visited that day, やま中(Yamanaka), specialized in Fukuoka's famous and scrumptious local speciality, Motsunabe (もつ鍋).

Even if we arrived here at about 21:00, the seats at Yamanaka (やま中) were still all occupied. It took us 15 minutes to queue.

The price of Yamanaka's motsunabe (もつ鍋) was 1,700 JPY (= 15.49 USD) per customer, not including tax. And the order for motsunabe (もつ鍋) was at least from 2 customers. We were 6 guys, of course, no problem!

At the beginning, the vegetable plate appeared on our table. There were garlic chives, burdock, konjac and cabbage. They all looked fresh and appetizing!

There were also various condiments on our table!

After a long while, our motsunabe (もつ鍋) was eventually served. Yamanaka's motsunabe had 3 flavors, miso, soy sauce and shabu-shabu. The flavor we chose that day was miso! The soup was superb and creamy with the freshness of vegetables and aroma of miso!

The tofu was soft and smooth! It absorbed the miso soup and tasted very appetizing!

The beef intestine tasted a little chewy, fat and quite tender, but it tasted not gamy at all! It was also quite matched the miso soup. It was very hard to stop eating them one and another!

We enjoyed the motsunabe (もつ鍋), beef intestine hot pot, and then we all remembered to remain the soup and additionally order ample rice and eggs to cook zosui, a mild and thin Japanese rice soup!

The golden and shiny beef intestine zosui appeared with fresh minced scallion. The enjoyment was not only vision but also taste. The rice and eggs absorbed the soup including essence of beef intestines and vegetables. The zosui tasted impeccable!

The price of motsunabe (もつ鍋, beef intestine hot pot) and zosui was approximately 2,100 JPY (19.13 USD). I'd strongly like to recommend Fukuoka's scrumptious local speciality to you guys!

After enjoying the yummy motsunabe, we decided to walk a stroll to our hotel, Hotel WBF Tenjinminami, to do our digestion good and experience the night life in Fukuoka, Japan.
