On Nov. 7, 2018, I went to AE Dumplings (阿娥水餃) for lunch near MRT Songjiang-Nanjing Station, Taipei, Taiwan at noon.
The dumplings at AE Dumplings (阿娥水餃) were all fresh made and cooked immediately. I really looking forward to its dumplings!
Customers gradually gathered and lined up at its entrance earlier than 12:00.
Luckily, I got there early enough, so I didn't waste my time waiting for a seat. I just entered and had my seat soon!
AE Dumplings (阿娥水餃) served only 1 kind of dumplings. That was just its signature, shrimp & chive dumplings!
The others on its menu were noodles and side dishes.
This time I ordered 15 shrimp & chive dumplings and one side dish, dried fish and bean curd.
The price here was 6 TWD (= 0.2 USD) per dumpling. Every dumpling looked full and round!
The savory and juicy pork stuffings, aroma of garlic chives, and a whole fresh shrimp were all stuffed in the thin dumpling skin. All of them were flawlessly combined. The dumplings were perfectly ambrosias!
The price of side dish, dried fish and bean curd, was 25 TWD (= 0.82 USD). It was hard for me to resist to tuck in the a little spicy and salty dried fish and bean curd. The side dish was really good for the ones who loved the strong taste, like me.
After finish the fresh and luscious dumplings, the seats at AE Dumplings (阿娥水餃) were all occupied. Its popularity was definitely proportional to its deliciousness, just like it was too hard to neglect the shining gold.
There is one thing to notice for those who want to try the dumplings! AE Dumplings (阿娥水餃) only opens from Mondays to Fridays and closes at 19:00. It doesn't open on weekends. Its opening hours are a little unfriendly to most of people, especially salarymen. For them, it's probably necessary to rearrange their schedule to enjoy the dumplings.
