Hengke Cold Noodles (橫科涼麵), the Tasty Cold Noodles on the Boundary of Nangang, Taipei, Taiwan and Xizhi, New Taipei, Taiwan
On Oct. 1, 2017, the 1st day of my trip around Taiwan with my friend, we went to Hengke Cold Noodles (橫科涼麵) on the boundary of Nangang, Taipei, Taiwan and Xizhi, New Taipei, Taiwan for breakfast at first as soon as we started!
The food stand was very popular with locals at Hengke Market (橫科市場), Xizhi, New Taipei, Taiwan. We decided to have our breakfast for here!
Everything on its menu looked mouth-watering! But my friend and I eventually order the same combination: Cold Noodles(Small) (35 TWD = 1.15 USD) + 3-in-1 Soup(Miso Soup with Egg Drop and Pork Ball) (30 TWD = 0.99 USD)
Soon we were served after we ordered. Its popularity made me look forward to the breakfast here!
At first, I tried its cold noodles! The noodles tasted al-dente! Additionally, the aroma of sesame paste and the texture of sliced cucumber were also great! Also, the chili sauce here was a crucial touch!
The soup tasted also nice! The egg drop was quite matched with miso soup. And the tofu, dried small fish and pork ball in the soup were also yummy! The soup not only tasted rich and yummy but also made me so full!
In conclusion, I thought the breakfast at 65 TWD (= 2.14 USD) made me so full! It was quite delicious and relatively affordable!
After finishing the satisfying breakfast, we continued to ride our motorcycles to Yilan, Taiwan, our destination this night!
