The Nameless Breakfast Restaurant Serving Delectable Bowl Rice Cakes and Egg Pancake Rolls at No. 68, Xingang Street, Hualien, Taiwan

On Oct. 3, 2017, the 3rd day of our journey around Taiwan, my friend and I woke up in Hualien, Taiwan and headed to the breakfast restaurant.

It seemed that there were too many highly-rated in Hualien, Taiwan to decide. But we finally decided to go to the nameless breakfast restaurant at No. 68, Xingang Street after reading other guys' reviews because having bowl rice cakes for breakfast was novel for us!

The indoor decorations looked like a family house, not a restaurant at all!

At last I ordered an egg pancake roll at 25 TWD(=0.83 USD), a bowl rice cake at 25 TWD(=0.83 USD) and a small cup of black tea at 15 TWD(0.5 USD). I also heard that the peanut soup was also its signature, but the above were enough for me in the morning.

I tried the bowl rice cake at first. The savory and oily ground meat and smooth rice cake were perfectly matched! It was really a novel breakfast experience for me!

Although the bowl rice cake for breakfast was quite delicious, it tasted not light at all!

The egg pancake roll was also quite tasty and tenderly chewy! Additionally, it tasted rich in the aroma of wheat and not redundantly oily at all!

Topping its special sauce on the egg pancake roll made it even yummier!

The breakfast here cost me totally 65 TWD (=2.17 USD). I felt so satisfied!

Personally speaking, having bowl rice cake for breakfast was novel, yummy but a little oily.

I also loved the aroma of wheat from the egg pancake roll. And it tasted not oily at all!

I thought it was a wonderful breakfast! After enjoying our breakfast, we continued to head south for our journey around Taiwan!
