On Oct. 1, 2017, the 1st day of our journey around Taiwan by motorbike, we started from Taipei, Taiwan in the morning, and we arrived in Yilan, Taiwan at noon. Therefore we visited Wenchang Zhajiangmian(文昌 炸醬麵), the historic Zhajiangmian(炸醬麵) restaurant in Yilan.

It was so poplar at noon! I could see lots of customers queueing for seats.

After we had seats, I ordered one small bowl of Zhajiangmian(炸醬麵) and wonton-and-ball soup!

What I order was soon served. The noodles and soup cost me 75 TWD(=2.48 USD). They looked enough for lunch!

The noodles of Zhajiangmian(炸醬麵) I chose were thick noodles because of my personal preference. The sauce looked darker probably because there was more sweet bean sauce added. It tasted sweeter but still delicious. It was also tasty with the chili pepper and dried fish in the restaurant!

I also liked its wonton-and-ball soup so much! It looked so light like water but actually tasted umami! It was absolutely worth a try!

The wonton and ball were both full inside! They were both scrumptious!

After we finished with satisfaction, we decided to buy some ice lemon juice with aiyu jelly! And then we went to our next destination, Qingshui Geothermal Park!
