Little Tibet (小西藏), the Delicious Speciality, Tibetan and Indian Cuisine, in Taichung, Taiwan!

On Oct. 5, 2017, my friend and I stayed at the hotel in Taichung, Taiwan for a night. In the next morning, we rode our motorbikes to A-Cheng's Chow Mein and enjoyed the chow mein for the typical breakfast of local residents in Taichung, Taiwan. After that, we went back to the hotel to sleep. We checked out at noon and headed to our lunch.

We planned to have a special cuisine for lunch in Taichung, Taiwan! Yes! We were going to try Tibetan cuisines!

The owner used Tibetan alphabets as decorations on the door.

And we could see the snow lion flag, the flag of Tibet, as the spirit of freedom and independence Tibetans desired as soon as we entered the restaurant!

The indoor decoration looked so Tibetan! The restaurant was really popular at noon! It was soon full after we entered.

We arrived at Little Tibet (小西藏) at the noon of Friday. The lunch specials were at quite fair prices! We ordered 1 set of Tibetan fried beef and 1 set of blue cheese mutton! Of course, we paid 20 TWD (0.66 USD) respectively, and the rice included in the set would be replaced by Tibetan naan.

Additionally, I ordered a cup of Tibetan butter tea! It was so famous that I couldn't help but try it!

There were photos and ordinary prices in the menu. The lunch specials really seemed bargains.

We'd also like to order some Tibetan traditional snacks, like momo or Tibetan deep fried pastry. But both of them were sold out that day!

The blue cheese mutton was served at first!

There were lots of mushrooms, vegetables and tender mutton with the smell of blue cheese and the Tibetan spices. The blue cheese mutton was perfectly matched with the Tibetan naan! It's so delicious!

And I thought the blue cheese mutton was enough to pour on an additional bowl of rice because of its sauce! Therefore I ordered one more bowl of rice to finish it!

The Tibetan fried beef was also tasty with the smell of Sichuan pepper and Tibetan cheese. I also loved this so much!

The Tibetan naan was our staple that day! I enjoyed the naan with the sauce and meat! I thought the combination of the naan with the light good aroma and the Tibetan cuisine was great!

After finishing, I tried the famous Tibetan butter tea! The Tibetan butter tea smelled so rich and creamy, but it was not as astringent as the ordinary milk tea.

But not like what I heard before. I had heard the Tibetan butter tea tasted salty, but it wasn't. It was quite smooth and tasty!

The last one was my friend's Tibetan curd. I also tried just a little. I couldn't say too much about it, but I'm really satisfied.

After the satisfying, unique and delicious Tibetan cuisine, we continued our trip around Taiwan. Our next stop would be Longteng Bridge, the historical site since Japan's colony.
