On Apr. 21, 2017, I met my friend from Canada for dinner in Banqiao, New Taipei, Taiwan. We had a joyful dinner at Liubiju Chaozhou Casserole Congee. Frankly speaking, the quality of the congee was quite high, but the price was reasonable!

We ordered the crab meat congee for 2 people when we made the phone reservation. It totally cost us only TWD 450 (USD 14.91). The amount for two was actually too large to finish! I even had to wrap up the remaining home!

The crabmeat and shrimp were fresh and yummy. The texture of meat ball was quite good! Although we had only 90 minutes to enjoy the dinner there, that was really enough!

Honestly speaking, every dish was quite appetizing! One of the dishes I liked the most was definitely dried prawns with salted egg yolk (金沙蝦球)! The hot fried prawns with salted egg yolk were perfectly matched!
I think that Liubiju Chaozhou Casserole congee is a good place to dine together. But It's really popular. Therefore please don't forget to make a reservation before you go! And you can order your casserole congee when reservating because the Chaozhou casserole congee takes time to cook!
