Qing's Hong Kong Fried and Steamed Dumplings (阿清師港式煎餃蒸餃), Serving the Fresh and Fantastic Leek & Shrimp Fried and Steamed Dumplings in Taipei, Taiwan

In the evening of Apr. 25, 2020, my friend and I would like to have dinner together. We met at MRT Linguang Station, Taipei, Taiwan and then headed to the nearby popular restaurant, Qing's Hong Kong Fried and Steamed Dumplings (阿清師港式煎餃蒸餃).

Qing's Hong Kong Fried and Steamed Dumplings (阿清師港式煎餃蒸餃) was actually a small food booth. The dining area was in back of the booth.

The dining area looked quite simple. We had seats and then ordered a dish of fried leek & shrimp dumplings (鮮蝦韭菜煎餃) and a steamer of steamed leek & shrimp dumplings (鮮蝦韭菜蒸餃). Their prices were both 100 TWD (3.32 USD).

The fried leek & shrimp dumplings was firstly served!

There 10 fried leek & shrimp dumplings in a dish. We had 5 dumplings respectively.

One side of the fried leek & shrimp dumplings was attached to the crispy fried dough. The other side looked quite transparent and green due to the leeks.

I always loved spicy food, so I enjoyed the dumplings with some chili sauce.

I could feel the crispy wrapper of dumplings when putting the fried leek & shrimp dumpling into my mouth at first. And then the aroma of leeks was soon full in my mouth. Moreover, the full and al dente pork stuffing and large and fresh shrimps made the dumplings so scrumptious!

Next, the steamed leek & shrimp dumplings was served. There were 10 dumplings in a steamer. We ate 5 dumplings respectively!

The wrapper of steamed leek & shrimp dumplings was so thin and transparent that we could see the green leek and red shrimp stuffing.

The thin and transparent wrapper of dumplings was al dente. The wrappers was matched with the full pork stuffing very well. Especially with the good-smelling leek and fresh shrimp, the steamed dumplings were the must-eat gourmet food! The chili sauce made the steamed dumplings even more delicious!

At last, we decided to order more dumplings because we could eat more! Although both of the steamed and fried dumplings were so fantastic, we preferred the steamed ones to the fried ones. Thus, our last order was a steamer of steamed leek & shrimp dumplings!

Personally speaking, Qing's Hong Kong Fried and Steamed Dumplings (阿清師港式煎餃蒸餃) is absolutely worth a try! The fried dumplings are crispy and good-smelling. The steamed dumplings with the thin and al dente wrappers and the fresh and tasty stuffing, like leeks, pork and shrimps, are too scrumptious to forget!
