Ding Hao Zi Lin Steamed Dumpling (頂好紫琳蒸餃館), the Famous and Popular Steamed Dumpling Restaurant in East Taipei, Taiwan!

In the evening of Jan. 25, 2019, my friend and I went to East Taipei, Taiwan to have steamed dumplings for dinner. That day we visited a pretty famous restaurant, Ding Hao Zi Lin Steamed Dumpling (頂好紫琳蒸餃館), in the basement of Dinghao Mall in East Taipei.

It was not only famous but also popular with customers. All of its seats were occupied!

So, we'd like to verify whether the level of cuisines here was equal to its fame and popularity or not.

Because we both had lunch later that day, we just ordered less dished than usual here.

We both ordered a bowl of beef egg drop soup at 40 TWD (= 1.27 USD).

The egg drop here looked so beautiful and tasted fluffy and smooth. It was also quite matched with the soup with beef aroma. Yes, the beef egg drop soup was great!

We only ordered a steamer of steamed pork dumplings at 90 TWD (= 2.86 USD). There were 10 steamed pork dumplings in the steamer.

The steamed dumplings here were fresh made and steamed. Its skin was so al dente, and its stuffing based on minced pork and cabbage. The dumplings here were tasty, tender and juicy!

Additionally, we ordered a dish of potstickers at 70 TWD (= 2.22 USD). There were 10 potstickers in a dish.

The skin of potstickers looked golden and attractive, and its texture was so crispy! It was so matched with its tender and juicy chive & pork stuffing. Their combination was really perfect!

Personally speaking, the level of cuisines at Ding Hao Zi Lin Steamed Dumpling (頂好紫琳蒸餃館) is absolutely worth its fame and popularity. I think it's one of the restaurants you shouldn't miss when visiting Taipei, Taiwan!
