A Tes Souhaits(アテスウェイ), the Best Cakery in Tokyo, Japan

On Feb. 16, 2017, after my travel companion and I had a happy lunch at Shin-Yokohama Raumen Museum, we came to A Tes Souhaits(アテスウェイ) for desserts because it was usually the top ranked cake shop on Tabelog!

A Tes Souhaits(アテスウェイ) is located near Tokyo Woman's Christian University. It may take you roughly 15 minutes to walk from JR Kichijoji or Nishi-Ogikubo Station. Taking the bus West 10 to the bus stop Tokyo Woman's Christian University from JR Kichijoji Station probably helps you save your time.

There is no seat inside A Tes Souhaits(アテスウェイ). It has outdoor seats but not many. To go with ice packs may be a better solution

We didn't get any seat outside the patisserie. We decided to take our cakes with ice packs to our next spot, Ghibli Museum. In order to lower our expense and exercise, we spent 40 minutes walking to Ghibli Museum!

The 1st thing we did after entering Ghibli Museum was to enjoy the exquisite desserts at the dining area outside the museum!

The blueberry cheesecake looked beautiful and delicate. It not only tasted moist and fluffy but also struck a perfect equilibrium between sour and sweet!

A Tes Souhaits' mont blanc chestnut cream puff 

The mont blanc chestnut cream puff was A Tes Souhaits' signature! The puff was so crispy, and its cream had rich chestnut taste. I was deeply attracted by the mont blanc chestnut cream puff!

My desserts with barley tea.

Same as usual, I had desserts with a cup of beverage. But here was no coffee shop at Ghibli Museum. The cafeteria here only served barley tea!

The prices at A Tes Souhaits(アテスウェイ) are a little higher than ordinary cake shops, but the quality of desserts there are even better than ordinary cake shops! A Tes Souhaits(アテスウェイ) is definitely worth visiting. But it's not just closed to the JR stations. Therefore please don't forget to spare your time if you put it into your itinerary.
