Robben Curry (羅本家咖哩), Serving the Slightly Spicy and Very Appetizing Curry Rice in Taipei, Taiwan!

In the evening of May 12, 2020, my friends and I head to Taipei Main Station, Taiwan for dinner nearby. That evening we visited Robben Curry (羅本家咖哩) near the north exit of Taipei Main Station.

Here were large floor-to-ceiling windows at Robben Curry (羅本家咖哩). The environment looked clean and comfortable!

Here were not many seats inside the resturant. But the dining space was not so crowded.

Here were 2 kinds of curry sauce,  Japanese classic curry (日式經典咖哩) and Southeast Asian coconut curry (南洋椰香咖喱), at Robben Curry (羅本家咖哩). Customers could choose the toppings like deep fried food and vegetables.

I ordered a dish of curry rice with Japanese fried chicken (日式唐揚炸雞咖哩) at 180 TWD (= 5.98 USD). The curry sauce I chose was the Southeast Asian coconut curry!

One of us ordered a dish of the deluxe curry set (羅本家全餐) at 280 TWD (= 9.3 USD). It looked not only abundant but also various!

After a while, my curry rice with Japanese fried chicken was served. Moreover, the set included a dish of sliced fruits.

The main toppings of curry rice was the hot Japanese fried chicken. The other toppings, including the half soft-boiled egg, fried potato, carrot and broccoli, looked quite appetizing!

At first, I'd like to try the curry. The Southeast Asian coconut curry tasted a little spicy with some coconut aroma. The texture became more various due to the ground meat in curry sauce. With the grainy but slightly sticky rice, it was to hard to stop myself from enjoying the fantastic curry!

The yolk of soft-boiled egg looked a little pasty. It was very good with the curry!

The Japanese fried chicken here looked darker and browner. They smelled so mouth-watering!

The outside of fried chicken was quite hot and crispy, and the inside was very juicy and tasty. It was too heavenly to forget! Personally speaking, I strongly recommended the fried chicken here!

The last dish was the dish of sliced fruits. The fruits were the guava and watermelon that day.

I think the quality of curry at Robben Curry (羅本家咖哩) is quite high! The Southeast Asian curry tastes spicy and appetizing with some coconut aroma. The curry is well matched with rice! Of course, the crispy and juicy Japan fried chicken is really impressive to me! Overall speaking, Robben Curry (羅本家咖哩) is absolutely worth a try!
