Dong's Dumplings (董家水餃), Serving the Fresh and Tasty Dumplings with Thin Wrappers in Yonghe, New Taipei, Taiwan!

On Mar. 10, 2020. my friends and I went to Yonghe, New Taipei, Taiwan for dinner. We were going to try Yonghe's famous dumpling restaurant, Dong's Dumplings (董家水餃).


Dong's Dumplings (董家水餃) was hidden at Liuhe Market (六合市場), Yonghe. It was a little far away from MRT stations. The large landmark nearby was Xiulang Elementary School (秀朗國小).


Here were 2 seat areas. After we placed our orders, we had our seats in the farther area from the counter.


Here were sauces on every table. I often enjoyed the dumplings with soy sauce, chili sauce and sesame oil.


Both of my accompanying friends ordered soup! They ordered corn soup (玉米濃湯) and hot and sour soup (酸辣湯) respectively. Each bowl of soup cost customers 30 TWD (= 1 USD).


Here were 2 kinds of dumplings, cabbage pork dumplings (高麗菜豬肉水餃) and leek pork dumplings (韭菜豬肉水餃). The prices of dumplings were both 6 TWD (= 0.2 USD). We totally ordered 20 dumplings.


I ordered 5 cabbage pork dumplings (高麗菜豬肉水餃) and 5 leek pork dumplings (韭菜豬肉水餃). The dinner cost me 60 TWD (= 2 USD).


The stuffing of cabbage pork dumplings tasted light and delicious. The texture of dumpling wrappers was quite al dente! With some soy and chili sauce, the dumplings tasted even better!


Besides the al dente wrappers, the leek pork dumplings were full of leek aroma! The leek pork dumplings were absolutely worth a try for leek lovers!

Personally speaking, the freshly-made dumplings at Dong's Dumplings (董家水餃) are fresh and tasty! Additionally, Dong's Dumplings (董家水餃) closes later. It's a very good option for dinner and late-night food!
