Arirang Village (阿里郎村落), the Excellent Korean Restaurant near MRT Zhishan Station, Taipei, Taiwan!

On Feb. 29, 2020, I had a happy lunch with my friends at Arirang Village (阿里郎村落). It was located near MRT Zhishan Station, Taipei, Taiwan.

Arirang Village (阿里郎村落) specialized in Korean cuisine!

Here were so many options on its menu. The dishes here were quite various!

Its menu was written in Chinese, English and Korean. Additionally, the photos were included, but not corresponding to every dish.

The spicy dishes were written in red!

We 6 people ordered 6 dishes!

We ordered the following:
Seafood pancake (海鮮煎餅) at 260 TWD (= 8.69 USD)
Ginseng chicken soup (韓式人蔘雞湯) at 530 TWD (= 17.72 USD)
Fried pork neck with apple, mushroom and kimchi (蘋果松阪豬) at 360 TWD (= 12.03 USD)
Korean ham and cheese hot pot (韓式部隊鍋加起司) at 280 TWD (= 9.36 USD)
Fried rice with kimchi at 170 TWD (= 5.68 USD)
Korean pork belly BBQ (韓式醬燒五花肉) at 280 TWD (= 9.36 USD)

Here were 3 side dishes, kimchi, bean sprouts and potatoes. Customers could ask one more for free.

The texture of fried rice with kimchi (泡菜炒飯) was grainy. The spiciness was not too high. It tasted quite appetizing!

The soup was included in the fried rice set.

The hot Korean pork belly BBQ (韓式醬燒五花肉) smelled so mouth-watering!

With the fresh and crispy romaine lettuce, it tasted so great but not too greasy!

The next dish was the fried pork neck with apple, mushroom and kimchi (蘋果松阪豬). The dish specially consisted of some fruits.

The sour and sweet sliced apples neutralized the spicy kimchi. The tender and a little crispy pork neck with the other ingredients constitute the special gourmet food!

The very red Korean ham and cheese hot pot (韓式部隊鍋加起司) looked quite spicy! The topped melted cheese could slightly lower the spiciness.

Although the hot pot which mostly consisted of cured meats was a little unhealthy, with the melted cheese, spicy soup and hot noodles, the hot pot was the delicious Korean speciality worth a sometimes try!

And then the upcoming dish was ginseng chicken soup (人蔘雞湯). We could still see the soup boiling when it appeared on our table!

The chicken in the ginseng soup was so tender. After tearing the chicken apart, we saw the soft rice inside! The ginseng chicken soup with the soft rice was very mild and tasty with ginseng aroma.

The last dish was seafood pancake (海鮮煎餅). It looked too golden to control our saliva. Additionally, the seafood inside was quite large!

The seafood pancake tasted pretty crispy but not oily. With some slightly sour sauce, it was so appetizing!

One of us was the regular customer here, so we could have the 10% off discount due to her coupon. Luckily, we 6 people totally spent just 1,692 TWD (= 56.56 USD) on the lunch!

Personally speaking, the foods here are quite good but not too spicy. It's a good option when having a lunch or dinner party because everyone has its taste, especially the ones who don't like the spicy food.

And the seats and service here are nice! So, actually, I had a very good experience that day at Arirang Village (阿里郎村落)!
