Menya Sancha (麵屋山茶), the Ramen Restaurant Serving Fragrant and Tasty Ramen in the Old Town of Taipei, Taiwan!

On Feb. 1, 2019, my friends and I visited Menya Sancha (麵屋山茶) for the ramen. It was located in Dadaocheng (大稻埕), the old town of Taipei, Taiwan. There were not to many seats in the restaurant. We had to wait for the seats available.

My friends both ordered the chicken and clam ramen at 280 TWD (= 9.1 USD).

Besides the big and mouth-watering clams, I tried the soup, and the soup tasted so fresh!

My chicken ramen with tea aroma at 220 TWD (= 6.5 USD) was served at last. The chicken soup tasted rich, smooth and mild. It was very hard to stop drinking the yummy soup.

The noodles was al dente! And its ability to absorb the soup was great!

The sous vide chicken tasted also quite tender! It was very good!

The running soft-boiled egg was also pretty amazing!



Adding some spicy oil here into the chicken soup made it taste also great! It was the different style from before!

The green matcha cream on the beautiful chicken rice would melt with time. It made the chicken rice with the aroma of matcha and cream.

In the end, we additionally ordered the green tea jelly at 20 TWD (= 0.65 USD) for dessert.

We were all satisfied with the ramen here. I believed that we would visit Menya Sancha (麵屋山茶) again soon!
