On Sep. 18, 2018, after my friends and I had a delicious puffer fish breakfast at Dormy Inn Premium Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi, Japan, we took a stroll around Karato Market and Shunpanro in the morning. At noon, we drove our cars back to Moji Port, Kitakyushu via the undersea tunnel.
We already got to Moji! Of course, we wouldn't miss the most famous cuisine in Moji--Yaki Curry (燒きカレー)! Therefore we visited Koganemushi's (こがねむし), the famous restaurant in Moji for Yaki Curry!
The main courses on the menu here were all about curry! We all ordered Yaki Curry at 650 JPY(= 5.73 USD) each because that's the reason why we were here!
The service here was quite friendly! Additionally, there were some mangas at the restaurant!
The space inside was not too large. It was a sweet and small restaurant. There were the sofa area and bar area.
For a while after we ordered, All of our Yaki Curry were served.
The food materials on the Yaki Curry looked rich and diverse! There were corns, ham, fried onion, beef chunk, etc. The baked rice with cheese was really enough for a male adult! Mixing them well and putting all into our mouth made us quite satisfied!
The beef chunk was so tender that it seemed almost melted when it was in my mouth!
There was also an egg hidden in the rice! My sincere suggestion was making the liquid egg yolk fully and equally distributed in the Yaki Curry soon! (I found the egg too late....)
The Yaki Curry here is impeccable in its size, price and quality! I really suggest that you put it onto your must-eat list when visiting Moji, Kitakyushu, Japan!
