Nigirimeshi Nadai (にぎりめし名代), the 24-Hour Restaurant Serving Finger-Licking Onigiri in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan!

After one night on the night bus from Hakodate Station, Hokkaido, Japan, my friends and I arrived in Susukino, Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan, but at 6:00 on Apr. 21, 2018! It was so early that most of shops were still closed then. We decided to go to Nigirimeshi Nadai (にぎりめし名代), the 24-Hour onigiri (Japanese rice ball) restaurant near the bus stop where we got off the bus for our breakfast!

We walked to the onigiri restaurant, Nigirimeshi Nadai (にぎりめし名代). There were not only to-go service but also seats for here!

But the space inside Nigirimeshi Nadai (にぎりめし名代) was long and narrow. There were not too many seats here.

But we arrived here so early; therefore we had seats as soon as we walked in. After that, we started to order!

Of course, I came here obviously for the onigiri (Japanese rice ball)! We could choose our onigiri with salt or soy sauce. After viewing the menu, I ordered 1 salty onigiri filled with salmon and butter and 1 soy-sauced onigiri filled with tarako (salted pollock roe) and cheese for breakfast!

Both of my friends ordered the soy-sauced onigiri filled with tarako (salted pollock roe) and cheese!

The onigiri here was made instantly after we order! Soon our breakfasts were all served!

I tried the salty onigiri filled with salmon and butter at first! The salted salmon with melted butter  inside was quite matched with the hot Japanese rice and the seaweed outside! It was really finger licking good!

The next one was the soy-sauced onigiri filled with tarako (salted pollock roe) and cheese! The yummy tarako (salted pollock roe) with a little melted cheese inside was also unbelievably matched with the hot Japanese rice and the seaweed outside! It was really heavenly!

After finishing the 2 onigiri, I felt so full that we checked our bills soon and had the seats unoccupied for the customers waiting outside.

It was still before 7:00, and most of shops hadn't opened yet. We decided to deposit our luggage at the hotel we were going to stay that night (also in Susukino, Sapporo). And then we started to visit Hokkaido Shrine!
