On Jun. 22, 2016, the 4th day of our trip to Ibaraki and Tochigi, Japan, my travel companion and I was looking for lunch after visiting JAXA in Tsukuba (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency Tsukuba Space Center)!
Frankly speaking, we initially planned to have ramen at Ichikawa(イチカワ) for lunch because we heard that it was the best ramen restaurant in Ibaraki, Japan! But unfortunately, Ichikawa(イチカワ) was closed that day.
We were googling another ramen restaurant for lunch as soon as we faced the cruel truth. Luckily, we found a famous and popular ramen restaurant, Hariken Ramen(はりけんラーメン) just near us then. We soon drove there to avoid the popular period!

The above was how the beautiful coincidence happened! I ordered the black ramen with pork and seafood broth. The ramen here was definitely one of the best ramen I had ever eaten in my life!
The rich pork broth was perfect mixed with seafood broth in the soup! The black liquid, probably sesame oil, brought the whole ramen into higher level of deliciousness. The tenderness of BBQ pork was absolutely impeccable! The soft-boiled egg was so juicy! And the firmness of noodle never disappointed me!
