Zamen (ザッ麵), serving the Affordable and Delicious Rich Chicken Ramen with Foam Topping in Taipei, Taiwan!

On Nov. 27, 2019, I had lunch with my family. We went to the ramen restaurant, Zamen (ザッ麵), near MRT Zhongxiao Dunhua Station, Taipei, Taiwan.

We visited here at noon. Here were not many customers because it was just opened.


The soup of ramen here based on chicken or pork broth. Compared with the other ramen restaurants in Taipei, the prices here was relatively low.


My family ordered the salt chicken ramen. The L-sized ramen only cost her 170 TWD (= 5.64 USD). Additionally, customers here could ask for a free bowl of noodles once.


I ordered L-sized rich chicken ramen. The price was 200 TWD (= 6.64 USD). The additional bowl of noodles was also free once!


The foam topping covered on the rich chicken ramen. Besides the common soft-boiled egg and sliced pork and chicken, the rare topping was the cabbage. Moreover, some shichimi powder was sprinkled on the soup.


The foam-topped rich chicken soup tasted not only fresh but also mild and tasty with red onion and shichimi powder.


Due to the foam, the noodles could absorbed more soup. By the way, I did ask for the firmer noodles. The noodles here was really satisfying!


The runniness of yolk of soft-boiled egg was also very good. It also tasted great!


The sous vide chicken was quite tender and juicy!


The sliced pork was grilled! It smelled so mouth-watering, and the ratio of fat and meat was good!


We asked for the free noodles while we finished our half bowls of ramen! The quality and portion of ramen here were both satisfying!


After we finished our ramen, here were more and more customers entering the restaurant.

Personally speaking, the ramen at Zamen (ザッ麵) is not only delicious but also affordable. Moreover, the servicer and location are also good. I think it's a nice ramen restaurant!
