Mekikinoginji Shintoshin (目利きの銀次 新都心本舗), the Amazing Izakaya Restaurant at Fair and Reasonable Prices in Okinawa, Japan!
In Sep. 2017, my friends and I visited Okinawa, Japan for tourism. Someday we went to the izakaya restuarant, Mekikinoginji Shintoshin (目利きの銀次 新都心本舗) in the evening.
It was a little far away from the monorail station. The design of building like the rice bucket looked attractive!
We had our seats on the 2nd floor that day.
There was the installation art of rice buckets inside the restaurant. It was hard not to neglect!
At the beginning. the giant clams for free were served! The giant clams tasted fresh and scrumptious! So did the soup!
There were lots of branches of Mekikinoginji (目利きの銀次). That day we visited Mekikinoginji Shintoshin (目利きの銀次 新都心本舗).
I ordered a mug of cocktail. It consisted of awamori, soda water and sweet ginger. It tasted better than my expectation!
The first thing we ordered was its quite affordable sashimi at only 500 JPY (= 4.56 USD)!
The sashimi here was not only fresh and tasty but also quite affordable! We ordered 2 portions, and we were all satisfied!
Its fried oysters tasted also great!
The deep-fried fresh oysters with tartar sauce were definitely worth a try!
And we made the sushi roll by ourselves.
The sashimi salad was not bad.
Personally speaking, I also loved its chicken noodle soup so much. The soup tasted creamy and mild, and the chicken was tender.
The rice balls with sea urchin sauce were also necessary! We mixed the sea urchin and raw egg yolk well and then dipped the rice balls with the mixed sauce and soy sauce. It was extremely delicious!
The horse sashimi made in Kumamoto was also worth our order!
The horse sashimi was thin without any fat, but it tasted really tender!
The next one, crab rice, was also amazing!
So much shredded crab was put on the hot Japanese rice!
We ate the crab rice with the crab paste cream with the aroma of crab.
It was a really impeccable golden combo! We finished one portion and then order an additional portion!
The dessert after courses was also luscious, but we were all almost full. We 4 people just had 1 portion.
After we enjoyed the satisfying dinner at the izakaya restaurant, the customers became more and more!
It was probably because we visited here at dinner time. For a izakaya restaurant, we were earlier customers!
On average, we spent roughly 3,000 JPY (= 27.38 USD) per person when paying the bill. I thought it was quite reasonable at a izakaya restaurant!
The fresh and scrumptious cuisines at Mekikinoginji Shintoshin (目利きの銀次 新都心本舗) always attract me to visit Okinawa Japan again for the gourmets!
