Little Burma Tea and Snacks (緬甸小吃店/拉茶店), Serving the Burmese Snacks and Milk Tea in Zhonghe, New Taipei, Taiwan

On Mar. 17, 2020, my friend and I rode the bikes to Burma Street (Huaxin St., 華新街), Zhonghe, New Taipei, Taiwan. After enjoying the delicious A Way Myanmar Snacks (阿薇緬甸小吃店), we walked to Little Burma Tea and Snacks (緬甸小吃店/拉茶店) nearby.

We saw many local customers at its outdoor seat area.

Here were also many Burmese desserts in the refrigerator.

We ordered the following desserts:
Egg puddings at 15 TWD (= 0.5 USD) per dish
Plantain at 15 TWD (= 0.5 USD) per dish
Brown sugar pancake at 25 TWD (= 0.83 USD) per dish
Burmese milk tea at 30 TWD (= 0.99 USD) per cup

Because here were more customers at the outdoor area, we chose the indoor seats.

Soon our desserts were served.

The aroma of tea was quite rich in the milk tea. The sweetness of tea was pretty obvious even I asked for less sugar, but the tea still tasted smooth and mild.

The brown sugar pancake looked quite brown, and it tasted quite crispy outside but fluffy inside. It tasted slightly sweet. The brown sugar was pretty good.

The next ones were the plantain cakes and egg puddings.

The plantain cake was not common in Taiwan. It tasted sour and sweet. The flavor was so unique.

The egg puddings were quite fluffy with egg aroma.

And then we ordered the coconut cake at 15 TWD (= 0.5 USD) per dish and the coconut agar at 15 TWD (= 0.5 USD) per dish.

The texture of coconut agar was al dente, and the flavor of it was slightly salty with coconut aroma. It's a nice dessert.

The coconut cakes had the aroma of wheat and coconut. It was pretty classic and delicious.

My friend and I both like Little Burma Tea and Snacks (緬甸小吃店/拉茶店). The dessert and tea here were affordable and tasty. The restaurant was good for both dine-in and takeout customers who'd like to try Burmese desserts!
