Jimei Steamed Buns (吉美蒸籠包), the Popular Restaurant Serving the Affordable and Delicious Breakfast with Locals in Xizhi, New Taipei, Taiwan

In the morning of Jan. 20, 2020, I headed to Jimei Steamed Buns (吉美蒸籠包), the popular breakfast restaurant in Xizhi, New Taipei, Taiwan!

Here were some tables for dine-in customers at Jimei Steamed Buns (吉美蒸籠包).

The take-out customers visited here one after another.

The prices of foods here were relatively low. The price of xiaolongbao (小籠包) was 10 TWD (= 0.33 USD) each, and the price of steamed dumplings (蒸餃) was 7 TWD (= 0.23 USD) each.

Therefore I ordered 2 xiaolongbao (小籠包) and 3 steamed dumplings (蒸餃) for breakfast. My breakfast totally cost me 41 TWD (= 1.36 USD).

The steamed dumplings and xiaolongbao (小籠包) looked quite large!

I took some sauce after my breakfast was served.

The steamed dumplings not only looked large, but also tasted al-dente.

The stuffing of steamed dumplings was fresh and juicy! The dumplings tasted even more delicious with soy and chili sauce!

The wrapper of xiaolongbao (小籠包) here was quite thick!

The stuffing of xiaolongbao (小籠包) here was also fresh and juicy. The xiaolongbao (小籠包) tasted also very good with chili and soy sauce!

Personally speaking, the foods at Jimei Steamed Buns (吉美蒸籠包) are not only delicious but also quite affordable. That would be the main reason why it's so popular with residents in Xizhi, New Taipei, Taiwan!
