In fact, there is the other ferry company, Tsugaru Kaikyo Ferry, also connecting Aomori and Hakodate. But it's a little more expensive than Seikan Ferry.

Seikan Ferry Terminal in Hakodate, Hokkaido, Japan

Unfortunately, there is no bus to Seikan Ferry Terminal in Hakodate. You can only arrive at the ferry terminal by foot of taxi from JR Goryukaku Station.

Seikan Ferry Terminal in Aomori, Aomori, Japan

Luckily, there is a bus stop, Tsugaru Kaikyo Ferry Terminal(津軽海峡フェリーターミナル), near Seikan Ferry Terminal in Aomori. They are not exactly at the same place but closed enough. The bus connects the ferry terminal in Aomori to JR Aomori Station and JR Shin-Aomori Station and only costs you JPY 200. The bus schedule is the following: 

	JR Shin-Aomori Station -> Tsugaru Kaikyo Ferry Terminal -> JR Aomori Station
